TRANSFER247

Transfer247 is a registered company in Athens, Greece, whose office address is Zinodotou 19, Ilioupoli, 16341, Athens, Greece, with company registration No 0206Ε70000920900.

The terms and conditions apply to services offered and contracted directly with Transfer247.

The company Transfer247 is also contracted to provide services acting as the transport agent for suppliers and booking agents and the applicable terms and conditions in this case are between the customer and the supplier/ booking agent and not with Transfer247. The supplier/booking agent will be the company indicated on your reservation voucher. The lead name on the reservation accepts the terms and conditions on behalf of each person included in that booking. The lead name on the booking must be an adult, aged 18 years or more.

By accepting this contract, you declare that you are of legal age and that you have the legal capacity to create and assume legally binding obligations, which allow you to comply with all the responsibilities associated with this contract.

ONLINE RESERVATION FORM

For you VIP transfer, fill out the online reservation form. After completing the reservation form, you will receive a confirmation email within 24 hours, along with our offer and all the details of your reservation. Once you accept the offer, responding in writing to the confirmation email, and immediately after payment is confirmed, you will receive your booking voucher electronically and your receipt, regarding your travel services.

For your reservation to be confirmed, the relevant payment is required not later than 48 hours before the starting time of the travel service, as it will be stated in the confirmation email that will be sent to you.

Reservations that have not been successfully paid based on the details in the confirmation email, are considered invalid. Prices are calculated based on the vehicle type, destination and the date you wish to use our travel services. We reserve the right to change prices at any time, even after payment. Possible reasons may be, for example, a change in toll prices, fuel or VAT. We have the obligation to notify you in writing of the change in pricing and the reasons for which it occurred.

TRANSFER247 SHUTTLES

Transfer247 shuttles are shared shuttle transfers. An affordable way of travelling to and from the airport. This means you share a shuttle bus with other customers travelling to your destination that can be staying in different accommodation and arriving/departing on different flights. Flights are grouped together. Shared shuttles can have up to 6 stops (though is normally less) and waiting time at airport can be up to half an hour from the time you check in at the Transfer247 representative.

TRANSFER247 VIP SERVICES

Our luxury vehicles provide you with modern comforts and ensure safety and comfort in your transportations, just for you. An experienced and polite driver will greet and meet you from the place you want (airport, port, hotel, etc…), will assist you with your luggage and will transport you at the place you want, ensuring comfortable and safe transportation. For private VIP transfers, the waiting period, from the pre-arranged appointment, is 60 minutes at the airport, 30 minutes at Ports and 15 minutes waiting time at all other meeting points.

RESERVATIONS AND PAYMENTS

Reservations can be made directly with Transfer247 by completing the online booking form.

Payment is required at the time of making the reservation and can be made online.

Reservations by email can be paid by a link online. The reservation will only be finally confirmed once payment is received.

All credit card receipts, and confirmation reservation/invoices will be emailed to the lead name of that booking based on the contact details that are completed in the online booking form.

A reservation is confirmed in writing by email and will indicate a unique reference number for each reservation.

Only confirmations issued by Transfer247 with a reference number and final confirmation are considered as valid reservations for the transport or transfer booked. The lead name of the reservation is responsible for checking all details are correct on the reservation and if not, reply in writing by email to modify. Once the reservation is issued, If the lead name on the reservation has not contacted us to amend any details, then Transfer247 does not accept any responsibility for wrongly supplied information which could lead to not being able to supply the service our customers think they have booked.

It is important to check the names of each person on the reservation, number of persons on the booking, date of service, flight number, flight details (time of arrival or departure depending on service contracted) airport details, the stop and meeting point you wish and accommodation where you are staying. The shuttle prices are the same for adults or children and a seat must be booked for each person travelling. Infants under 2 years travel free (on parent’s lap), however they must be indicated at time of booking as Transfer247 must know total number of customers on board. It is the parents’ responsibility that infants are secured.

LAST MINUTE RESERVATIONS

Last minute bookings are those made within 48 hours prior to transfer’s time schedule. These bookings are upon request and subject to availability. Besides completing the online booking form, please email or call to check availability, as Transfer247 accepts late bookings if there is availability. An extra admin fee per person might be charged on top of the price in the case of last-minute bookings. Transfer247 supply a 24-hour emergency number mainly for location of buses and drivers.

MODIFICATIONS & CANCELLATIONS

All changes and cancellations are made in writing to the contact email sales@transfer247.gr. We will then send you an email in which you will have to reply and confirm its contents, in order to proceed with your request and issue a new booking voucher. If for any reason you do not receive the message, you are solely responsible for contacting TRANSFER247 to verify that your request has been received and is being processed. TRANSFER247 is not responsible if, for any technical reasons, the communication process is not completed.

You may cancel or change your reservation up to 7 days before the start of the service in writing in the above contact email. After that period, the change is related to availability and TRANSFER247 cannot guarantee the availability of the service.

Direct bookings made directly with Transfer247 and subsequent cancellations made in writing prior to 7 days in advance of the date of travel, will not be charged with a cancellation fee. For cancellations within 7 days’ period before the date of travel no refund will be given.

REFUND

If you wish to cancel your reservation, a refund will be made if you have informed us in writing to the contact email up to 7 days before the start of your travel service. For a 7days period and less notification, no refunds will be made.

TRANSFER247 reserves the right to cancel your booking, and refund your amount paid, in case we have no availability to serve you.

TRANSFER247 is not liable for refunds for any bank transfer charges.

CONDITIONS OF CARRIAGE. RESPECT OF FELLOW CUSTOMERS – SHUTTLE SERVICE

As this is a shared shuttle and there will be other customers from all age groups, we ask that there is mutual respect with everyone, and abusive behavior will not be tolerated if it affects other customers. To make everyone’s travel experience as amicable as possible. The supplier, agent, driver, rep can refuse carriage if they appear to be under influence of drugs or alcohol and causing unacceptable behavior that can upset or create risk to other customers.

In this case refunds will not be made to customers refused carriage under these circumstances.

PICK UP – DROP OFF LOCATIONS – SHUTTLE VEHICLES

When you proceed with your booking, it is mandatory to note the correct pick up or drop off location from where your shuttle will pick you up. Please note that there is no waiting time period for the shuttle at its stop and that you must be at the designated location on time so not to miss your shuttle.

Pick up and drop off locations for shuttle bus might be rearranged in case your shuttle – vehicle cannot approach your specific location due to road restrictions. In this case you will be informed in prior for which exact location your shuttle will pick you up / drop you off.

Shuttle vehicles are designated for each route upon passengers’ capacity and availability and might different each time.

CONFIRMATION OF PICK UP TIMES BACK TO AIRPORT – SHUTTLE SERVICE

It is the customer/lead name of booking`s responsibility to enquire about return transfer to the airport from specific meeting point and at specific time based on the time schedule on the online booking form.

For departures -returns, that have been booked online, from meeting points to the airport, pick up times will be also confirmed 24 hours prior to departure date by email from Transfer247 team and also in your mobile through WhatsApp. Transfer247 supply a 24-hour emergency number mainly for location of buses, however, should you have forgotten to locate your confirmation of pick up during office hours we will try and attend to your request. DELAYS ON ROUTE

Transfer247 will endeavor to be precise on pick up times stated and reach your destination on time. However, Transfer247 cannot be held responsible for breach of terms and conditions for exceptional distances of force majeure.

FLIGHT DELAYS/FLIGHT CANCELLATIONS

In the event of a flight delay on arrival at the airport, reasonable steps will be taken to provide alternative transport if you missed your scheduled bus. This may incur an unplanned waiting time on arrival, as delays are not within Transfer247 control. However, we will try our best so transport to be provided. In the event of a flight cancellation it is the responsibility of the lead name of the booking to contact and inform Transfer247 for the flight cancellation so that alternative arrangements can be made.

FLIGHT ARRIVALS

Upon flight arrival every step must be made from customer’s side to contact our Transfer247 representative on airport’s arrival floor as soon as possible. If you have booked a shuttle and decide to take alternative transport, please inform us, using this line +30 6946876034, and through WhatsApp, so as not to keep other customers waiting.

Waiting time to contact our rep is a maximum one hour after your flight has landed, thereafter you will be classed as no-show for not having turned up. It is the customers’ responsibility to contact us directly. Customers who decide to use other services at the airport before taking the shuttle bus, such as restaurants, cafeteria, shopping, take risk, as the shuttle buses might leave without them and Transfer247 will not incur any liability under these circumstances for missed transport.

CUSTOMERS RESPONSIBILITY

You declare that you understand the terms and conditions described herein.

You understand and agree to notify TRANSFER247 of any change or variation that may affect the travel service as soon as possible.

Your service will be organized and provided according to the information provided to us during the booking process. It is your responsibility to verify and confirm that all information contained in the booking form is correct (date, time, flight number, full address, etc.) and, in case of discrepancies, to notify us immediately.

TRANSFER247 will use the information you have completed during the booking process and will transfer you to your destination as close as possible to your stay, given the characteristics of the vehicle and the natural conditions of access to the destination you requested. Passengers will be picked up at the meeting point, the date and time specified in your booking voucher.

The waiting time, from the pre-arranged appointment, is 60 minutes at the airport and 30 minutes at Ports. If you are not present at the meeting point at the agreed time, you lose the right to a refund for your travel service.

It is your responsibility to ensure that your pre-arranged transfer to the Airport is at least three (3) hours in advance of your scheduled flight or departure time. When you are booking the transfer service, on a date and time, you need to be sure that it meets the requirements of your route.

In case you are unable to locate the driver at the designated meeting point, it is your responsibility to contact TRANSFER247 at the telephone number listed on the booking voucher. If you fail to call these numbers and TRANSFER247 is not notified of the problem, the transfer service will be cancelled, and no refund will be given.

During the booking process you need to tell us if you are traveling with children. We recommend that you bring with you the child restraint system with which you are most familiar. If you do not want to travel with your own child restraint system, you can request one, during the booking process. This request is subject to availability and TRANSFER247 cannot guarantee that its restraint system will be similar to the one you are used to.

If you do not request a child restraint system during the detention process, your child will travel with the vehicle’s security and restraint systems. Directive 2003/20/EC of the European Parliament regulates the use of obligatory child restraint systems. In the case of private transfers, the law states:

Children under the age of three, when traveling in an authorized vehicle, may travel without a restraint system in the rear of the vehicle if a child restraint system is not available.

Children three years of age and older must have an adult seat belt if there is no child seat.

In any case, a child or infant will count as a passenger in the vehicle and same charges still apply.

TRANSFER247 reserves the right to make any changes that may occur regarding the vehicle type or driver, without having to notify you of this change.

The choice of the route to be followed, remains at the discretion of each driver. The driver has the right to refuse to follow routes that do not ensure the safety of the occupants as well as the integrity of the vehicle.

You must always bring with you all the necessary documents for proof of identification. TRANSFER247 will not be held liable or charged for failing to obtain the appropriate documents or comply with local authorities.

In the event that TRANSFER247 has to face a fine due to your non-compliance with local laws, regulations or other requirements imposed by the countries to which you wish to access, leave or visit, we reserve the right to withhold service or any money paid to us until the full amount of the fine has been paid in full.

RIGHT OF ADMITTANCE

TRANSFER247 reserves the right to refuse services to persons under the influence of alcohol or drugs. TRANSFER247 reserves the right to cancel the service if the behavior or conduct of any passenger is such as to affect the safety of the driver, vehicle or other passengers. TRANSFER247 will not be held responsible for any additional charges that may arise from such conduct.

The consumption of alcohol or drugs in vehicles is strictly prohibited. Smoking is not allowed in any of the vehicles.

LUGGAGE

The baggage allowance per passenger, is one suitcase with a maximum weight of 20 kg and a total combined dimension of 158 cm (height + width + length), as well as a hand luggage. For any larger luggage, you need to notify us in writing when filling out the form.

In case you forget any luggage or item in the vehicle, we will make every reasonable effort to recover the lost item and, if any, arrange shipping to the address provided when booking. You will be responsible for covering any additional costs.

TRANSFER247 is not responsible for any loss or damage your luggage may suffer. We recommend that you choose a travel insurance policy that can cover any loss or damage.

DOMESTIC ANIMALS

During the booking process you must notify us if you are traveling with pets. Pets are the sole responsibility of their owner and they must always travel in an IATA approved box. Pet transport depends on our availability and approval and an additional charge will be applied. If we have not been informed at the time of your booking that you will be traveling with a pet or if the above conditions are not met, we reserve the right to refuse the service and your travel service will be cancelled without a refund.

FORCE MAJEURE

TRANSFER247 can neither guarantee nor be held liable for any circumstances arising out of or before the travel service of your choice. Such circumstances may include, but are not limited to, accidents and related delays, checks or police activities, acts of vandalism or terrorism, protests and organized disturbances, unpredictable road hazards, government or national authority decisions, natural disasters. or other events not subject to TRANSFER247 control.

LIABILITY, DAMAGES AND ACCIDENTS

All vehicles have the compulsory insurance required by Greek regulations and all administrative licenses. Transfer247 does not accept liability for injury, damage or lost belongings due to customer’s own negligence. For your own safety, seat belts are provided on all buses and must be used. It is forbidden to travel standing up, not sitting in your seat, whilst the coach is moving.

LAW AND JURISDICTION

Any claims or dispute arising from the contracted service and terms and conditions shall be in accordance with Greek law. Disputes between the parties arising from this agreement and all agreements ensuing from it will be put exclusively before the competent court in Athens.
